The 2027 Ryder Cup

‌The Golf Course at Adare Manor will host The 2027 Ryder Cup. The course offers an authentic Irish golf experience due to its relaxed atmosphere and its famed Irish hospitality.

The Course was redesigned by Tom Fazio; the original course having been designed by Robert Trench Jones. During the 24-month course reconstruction, 220,000 tonnes of sand were used across the site to make sure every inch of the course had adequate drainage, in order to cope with the unpredictable Irish weather. The Golf Course has only 41 bunkers, fewer than any other Fazio design, and is also one of only three golf courses in the UK and Ireland that benefits from a SubAir Aeration System under all 18 greens.

“There are few golf courses in the world that offer a golfing experience as pure as this Irish gem”.

Opened in 1995, the course has since played host to numerous professional and amateur events, including the 2007 and 2008 Irish Open on the Pádraig Harrington, 2020 European Ryder Cup Captain, said: “It’s second to none. A fantastic design, fantastic development, with the hotel and clubhouse. There’s nothing better.”

Five-time Ryder Cup star Rory McIlroy added: “The golf course is absolutely incredible. To have a course presented like this is phenomenal. It’s parkland perfection.”

We cannot wait for The Ryder Cup to visit this simply majestic Irish venue in Adare, Ireland’s Prettiest Village.
