Clonshire Equestrian Centre is set on 120 acres of rolling parkland, in the peaceful and tranquil surroundings of Clonshire Beg, Adare, Co. Limerick, Ireland. Manor Fields & Playground
The Manor Fields Adare is a community-owned, 25 acre amenity with ownership vested in Adare Recreation Community Complex CLG. It is located just off the main Limerick /Kerry road, with the turn for the entrance at the traffic lights. Adare Recreation & Community Complex CLG is the legal entity but the facility is better known by its trading name – The Manor Fields Adare.
Live Music & Events
From Monday to Sunday you will find live Irish music in one of the bars or hotels in Adare. The musical events change from bar to bar so contact the individual bar by phone of email for current information.
Knockfierna
Knockfierna which translates in English to “Hill of the Fairies” is located a short drive south west of Adare just outside the village of Ballingarry.
Horse Racing
Limerick Racecourse is located 4km from the village of Adare. Twilight evenings at Limerick Races are extremely popular for sports & social outings, visitors to the region, corporate entertaining or groups looking for something a little different! Tickets start from only €17 per person to include racing and music and free bus back to Limerick city after racing. Excellent BBQ and Restaurant packages are available.
Historical Exhibition
Step back in time and take a journey through the historical exhibition, a reconstruction of Adare’s unique past from the arrival of the Normans to the ancient abbeys of the Middle Ages. The exhibition is located at Adare Heritage Centre.
Limerick Greenway
The Greenway is a 40km path through the local countryside, and offers an authentic experience of rural Ireland for cyclists, runners and walkers.
