Road Traffic Notice: N21 Kilgobbin, Adare, Co. Limerick

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that the N21 Kilgobbin to Gorteen Adare Co Limerick East Bound Hard Shoulder Closure on N21 from N21 Junction with L1427 to the start of the dual carriageway at Gorteen East Bound Hard Shoulder Closure will take place from Monday 6th July to Friday 2nd October 2026. This closure is necessary to facilitate the Road construction and Facilities Installations works.

The proposed Traffic management system will be installed over a number of days starting on Monday 6th July 2026. A traffic management system will be in operation for the duration of the works. Any inconvenience caused is regretted.

Road Traffic Notice: L1422 Coolagh Bridge, Tuogh Adare, Co. Limerick

Limerick City and County Council advise motorists and road users that road works involving Bridge Rehabilitation Works located at Coolagh Bridge on the L1422 local road at Tuogh, Adare, Co. Limerick, between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm will be ongoing from Monday 6th July to Friday 31st July. A stop go traffic management operation will be in place for the duration of the works.

Heavy Goods vehicles are requested to use an alternative route. 

Motorists are advised that significant delays are expected during this period.
