A premium package to Ryder Cup in Limerick - on sale for almost €106,000

Exclusive ticketing packages for the 2027 Ryder Cup tournament event are on sale – with one costing almost €106,000! Giant seven and three-metre-sized golf balls have been installed at King John’s Castle and Adare this week.
Areas of the city and county are being adorned with the 2027 Ryder Cup official branding with flags, banners, other celebratory displays and light projections being installed.

Corporate ticketing packages with exclusive access to the greens went on sale this Tuesday.

The highest package appeared to be on the market for €105,930.

This is for a table of 12 seats in the Captain’s Club for every day of Ryder Cup 2027.

Located just behind the fifth green and the sixth tee, these packages will provide direct access to an on-site viewing platform.

Live entertainment and a vibrant social space are promised between golfing, with the club being billed as “a stage for shared memories, camaraderie, and a celebration worthy of the Ryder Cup’s 100th year.”

The countdown to the centenary tournament in Adare will kick in from Sunday evening as the 2025 staging of the USA-Europe contest in New York wraps up.

As the pendulum of hosting responsibilities swings to Europe, it will be the role of Tourism Minister and Limerick TD Patrick O’Donovan to take part in the symbolic handover of the ceremonial putter between host venues.

This will symbolise the transfer of the contest’s honour and history between host venues, from New York to Limerick. Mr O’Donovan will be part of a delegation at Bethpage Black, alongside members of the McManus family, the owners of Adare Manor, and members of Limerick City and County Council, including Mayor John Moran.
