About Flowers, owned by Kate McNamara, is a proud local florist in Limerick, located in the charming thatched cottage at the roundabout in Raheen/Dooradoyle—now widely recognised as one of the best florists in Limerick and among the finest in Munster.

The business was taken over by Kate in November, bringing with it a wealth of experience and a fresh vision, while maintaining the high standards and personal service customers have come to love. Kate brings over 22 years of floristry experience, with a particular
passion for weddings, intimate dinner settings, and corporate events.

For 18 years, Kate refined her craft at one of Limerick’s most cherished flower shops, Flowers Forever, where she developed a strong reputation for creativity, attention to detail, and a genuine connection with clients.

“I took over the business after working here for many years, so while the ownership is new, the experience certainly isn’t. Between myself and my team, we have extensive hands-on experience creating bespoke floral designs for weddings, private occasions, and corporate events across a wide range of venues.”

Every bouquet and floral arrangement created at About Flowers reflects Kate’s passion, artistry, and care. Weddings remain a central part of the business, with flowers supplied to renowned venues such as The Manor Hotel, Dunraven Arms, Dromoland Castle, Aghadoe Heights, Castletroy Park Hotel, and Castle Oliver, among many others.
