Tom Brady won six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots and added a further title with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Widely regarded as the greatest American footballer of all time, Brady is also an avid golfer as both he and his father, Tom Brady Sr took in the beauty of Adare Manor in the glorious sunshine.

Brady is currently in Ireland on a father-son golf trip with his father, playing renowned links courses such as Adare Manor, Royal County Down and Portmarnock.

He has strong Irish roots—his father is 100% Irish and his mother’s family originally hails from Cork.

The iconic quarter-back took to his Instagram to praise the west Limerick’s five-star hotel and golf resort.

“These pictures are worth 1000 words and even more memories. It’s hard to describe how special this trip to Ireland was with my idol and hero, my dad. It didn’t take much convincing to head to Ireland to play some of the best golf courses in the world, @RoyalCountyDownGC  @PortmarnockGolfClub and @TheAdareManor, but to be on the course with my dad on Father’s Day was one of the greatest experiences of my life.

“Returning to Ireland was special in its own right, and the incredible hospitality and kindness of the Irish people will always hold a place in my family’s heart.

“I’m beyond blessed to create memories like these, and it’s all because of the work my dad did for our family and how he has supported us all and loved us unconditionally.

“The foundation of love and support from my mom and dad was second to none. I can only hope to be back here someday with my kids years from now.”
