To: The Adare Community: GMC, on behalf of Gas Networks Ireland (GNI), are currently on a project to upgrade capacity to the existing gas network in Adare village. The works include installation of a district regulating installation (DRI) at the rear of the Heritage Centre and will require laying 100m of new gas pipeline on Station Road from the Heritage car park entrance to the corner of Main Street / Lena’s.
Every effort will be made to minimise the impact to local businesses along this route and maintain pedestrian access on the footpath. Car parking on both sides of Station Road will be temporarily suspended for up to 3 weeks from Tuesday 5th May to facilitate 2-way traffic flow. The road crossing will be completed outside of normal working hours
