Permission to be sought to build lodges at Adare Manor for Ryder Cup 2027

The company which operates Adare Manor is set to seek planning permission to build 10 accommodation lodges on the grounds of the hotel and resort.

It comes as preparations for the 2027 Ryder Cup at the five-star venue continue to ramp up.

Tizzard Holdings Unlimited Company has advertised its intention to build the lodges, which will be two-storey in height and be self-catering

If permission is given, they will be linked to a wastewater treatment plant on site, according to the planning notice, with access to be provided through an existing gateway into the resort.

It’s estimated that up to 300,000 people will visit Limerick for the blue riband golf tournament from across the world in September 2027.

This will put pressure on accommodation providers, and many people have already offered their homes out to rent for the duration of the tournament.

Meanwhile, later this month, Adare village will put its best side out for a special community event on the same day the 2025 tournament in New York comes to a close.

While a handover to the Limerick organisers takes place at Bethpage Black on Sunday, September 28, a community engagement day will take place in Adare.

There will be a search for Ryder Cup stars of the future with a competition for children at Adare Pitch and Putt and lots of other events as published.

Local pubs will host watch parties of the final day of the 2025 Ryder Cup from 5pm, while there will be a raffle with prizes related to the contest.

RTE Nationwide will be there to film on the day.
