Knockanes is located 3kms from the village of Adare. The cottages themselves are 1km off the main road so that you are gauranteed peace and tranquility.
The cottages were converted by current owner and local artist Joan Toomey to the highest standards.
These cottages are some of the finest examples of rural Irish cottages from the past. They have been beautifully renovated with modern utilities and tastfully decorated.
Beautifully landscape gardens surround the cottages with roses in full bloom during the summer months. So you can sit outside in the gardens or play some croquet.
There are two cottages on the grounds which are available for block booking or single booking.
The converted cottage comprises of a living area, kitchen, 2 large bedrooms en-suite and one smaller bedroom. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer.
The other cottage is a converted stone building completed in 2002. This building is very tastefully decorated inside and outside making sure your stay is a comfortable one.
